Data Collection
When using our website for information purposes only, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server (server log files). This includes: IP address, date and time of the request, content of the request (specific page), access status/HTTP status code, amount of data transferred in each case, website from which the request comes, browser, operating system and its interface, as well as language and version of the browser software. When using our appointment booking tool, we collect the data you voluntarily enter there (e.g., name, email address).
Purpose of Data Processing
The processing of server log files is technically necessary to display our website to you and to guarantee stability and security. We use the data from the appointment booking or contact solely to process your request and to prepare or perform our consulting services.
Legal Basis
The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of log files is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If the contact or appointment booking is aimed at concluding a contract, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures).
Cookies
This website is designed with privacy in mind and completely dispenses with the use of tracking or advertising cookies that require consent. We may only use technically strictly necessary session cookies that are required for the basic functions of the website (e.g., security). Since we do not use cookies requiring consent, we do not need a cookie banner.
Web Analytics via Vercel Web Analytics
We use the tool Vercel Web Analytics for the statistical evaluation of our website's usage. The provider is Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA.
Vercel Web Analytics is designed with privacy in mind and completely dispenses with the use of cookies or similar tracking technologies stored on the user's device. The collection of data (e.g., pages visited, referrer URLs, device type, operating system, and browser) is aggregated and anonymized. IP addresses are not permanently stored but are only processed for the duration of the session and discarded immediately afterward, meaning no conclusions can be drawn about individual persons.
The use of this analytics tool is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the anonymized analysis of user behavior in order to continuously optimize our website and its content. Data transfers to the USA are secured by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Performance Measurement via Vercel Speed Insights
To technically optimize our website, we use the tool Vercel Speed Insights. The provider is Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. This tool measures purely technical performance data in the browser (such as load times and page rendering speed) to continuously improve the user experience. Vercel Speed Insights is designed with privacy in mind: it does not use cookies and does not store any personal data that would allow conclusions to be drawn about individual users. The processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the technical flawlessness, security, and performance optimization of our website.
Third-Party Services
For appointment scheduling, we integrate the service “Calendly” (Calendly LLC, 115 E Main St., Ste A1B, Buford, GA 30518, USA). When you book an appointment, the data you enter is transmitted to Calendly. In addition, our website is hosted by Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA), which is why the data traffic is routed via their servers. Data transfers to the USA are secured by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your Rights
You have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing at any time, as well as a right to correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. You also have the right to data portability and can object to the processing. For this purpose, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice.
Data Retention
We only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the processing purposes or as provided for by the various retention periods mandated by law (e.g., commercial and tax retention obligations). After the respective purpose ceases to apply or these periods expire, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted.
